Maquenque EcoLodge is located in the same region, at the San Carlos River shores in Bocatapada, close to a hill into 60 ha of pristine Tropical Rainforest, which are joint to the recent Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge of 60,000 ha. This area has an extraordinary biodiversity which inhabits a lush vegetation including a huge amount of birds (featuring of course, the Great Green Macaw). Besides there are beautiful lagoons worthy of canoeing into them.
